It's not you, It’s me.

Your eyes are always looking down

seems all they’ve got for you are frowns

its you, its you, its you — worth

This defeating skill you have, its not self taught

it began with several tiny planted thoughts

its you, its you, its you -doubt

Seeds of fear grew deep inside

no matter what you could not hide

its you, its you, its you — shame

to love yourself again you see,

you must know when to say

its me, its me, its me — acceptance

Then and only then will your eyes look up ahead

you'll shed that constant state of insecure and dread

its me its me its me- Confidence

Smiling, welcoming faces are returned to yours

Now that you’ve chosen to open these doors

its me its me its me- trust

Feel grateful to wake up each day

look in your mirror, smile and say

its me, its me, its me- love
